Honoring Our Roots

Robert (Tim) Casey

Tim Casey, the father of our founder Pat Casey, was a 5th generation Haliburton pioneer descendant who instilled the values of hard work, innovation, and community spirit that have become the cornerstone of Total Site Services.

Values that guide us today

As a member of the Ontario chapter of Explosive Engineers, Tim advocated for using explosives for the betterment of mankind. His problem-solving skills, fair and honest approach, and dedication to excellence formed the bedrock of Total Site Services' commitment to quality.

Tim ventured into the drilling and blasting business with his brother at Segmiller Construction. His knowledge and dedication led him to design the world-renowned Trillium Drilling and Blasting course at Fleming College, setting new standards for the industry.

A dedicated volunteer, Tim coached the Haliburton Huskies and as someone who loved books, advocated for the Haliburton Library book transfer program. Today, Total Site Services honors his legacy by embodying his innovative spirit, strong work ethic, and commitment to the community.

Total Site Services: Rooted in Haliburton's History

A Legacy of Pioneer Spirit

Our story begins over 150 years ago, as one of the pioneering families in Haliburton, the Casey’s embraced the challenges of life in the rugged wilderness, clearing the land, building homesteads, and establishing themselves as members of the growing community.

With each generation, the family’s entrepreneurial spirit continued to thrive. Our great-grandfather and grandfather turned their attention to the construction and excavation business, laying the foundation for what would eventually become Total Site Services.

Community Initiatives

Building More Than Just Projects

At Total Site Services, we believe in giving back to the community that has supported us for generations. As a proud Haliburton County local, our commitment to making a positive impact extends far beyond our construction projects.

Haliburton Skateboard Park

We were thrilled to donate $25,000 towards the construction of this exciting recreational space, providing a safe and fun environment for local skateboarders to enjoy

Rotary Park Kids Playground

Investing in the future of our community is essential, which is why we contributed $25,000-$30,000 to build a playground where children can play, learn, and grow.

Ducks Unlimited

As avid outdoorsmen, we understand the importance of preserving our natural habitats. That's why we've partnered with Ducks Unlimited to protect and restore wetlands in our area.

SIRCH Community Services

We are committed to helping people of all income levels in our community, and our support of SIRCH allows us to contribute to various programs and services that make a difference in people's lives.

Water Ambassadors

Access to clean drinking water is a fundamental human right. We work closely with Water Ambassadors on water projects to ensure that everyone in our community has access to safe, clean water.
